“The Debutante” by Elizabeth Hobbs, United Kingdom, 2022, 8’07
Jury’s rationale: Witty and innovative adaptation of a novella, full of quirky energy, strong on an artistic level.
This short animation I scored has been selected for Annecy Film Festival 2022. The animation is by the award winning director Elizabeth Hobbs and has been a long and exciting project to be involved in scoring. The film has been animated using hand painting and drawing on paper, cut outs and rotoscope.
I will link to excepts from the score soon.
